It's troubling to see how many students these days have absolutely zero school pride. They don't feel about their community, they don't engage in events, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've disregarded what it means to be part of a community and support their fellow students. This lack of passion is detrimental to the entire school atmosphere.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I've tried to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes fit just right.

My School Is Different

When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a more info unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my time there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same weight for me as it does for others.

It's not that I regret my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that sticks with me in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are more focused on different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

I Am Bleeding Blue

The society doesn't accept that I bleed a different hue. They stare with disgust as I display the fact of my existence. My life force is a sign of {somethingunique that they can't grasp. They categorize me as other, but I am simply special.

Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and participating in lame competitions. Give me brains over brawn any day!

My Eyes Are On The Prize (Snacks)

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me pizza rolls any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
